The Misfits - Land Of The Dead - Release Date - October 27, 2009

I think a lot of fans missed this release that The Misfits did last year and I wanted to post this so it wouldn't be overlooked anymore. Yes, Jerry Only is back with Dez Cadena and Robo (members of Black Flag) for another release and hopefully an album here in the near future. Personally I love Jerry Only's vocals and he really belts it out in this release. The album has only two songs but I love them both and it is also kind of a tease of what more is to come from this trio in impending time. The songs are based around George A. Romero's zombie films, first being "Land Of The Dead" which was fourth in the series and "Twilight Of The Dead" which was Romero's working title for Land Of The Dead for year (yes I'm a film buff as well.) So both songs of course are about the undead but that is what I wanted and expected from the genius himself...Jerry Only.
