The Soup Dragons had a minor successful run over in the UK and had minimal fame here in the US but the cause of them not being huge over here in the states is simply because they were before their time. These guys would have had music in every commercial, movie, and music compilation out there, but they started to soon and died off when it was to late. I still listen to them all the time, whenever it is a rainy day or a rough work day their cover of The Rolling Stones "I'm Free" always cheers me up. Their lyrics are innovative and masterful that make you feel inspired and warm inside, the music is mollifying and makes you want to close your eyes and take a deep breath and forget the world for a moment. So when you listen to the track "I'm Free" I ask you to sit back and close your eyes and take a moment to feel what I have felt for years. I promise this song is better than your Xanax and Zoloft and it will have a longer lasting effect, but try not to think about how The Soup Dragons are not together anymore think about what they left us with and enjoy that.
