Remember when punk rock was fun? Do you recall when it was more about life, growing up, and relationships instead of all the political bullshit? I do. One of the bands that stayed true to the genre was Avoid One Thing. With ex-members of The Mighty Mighty Bosstones, they were here for a little while to prove that punk rock still existed. Every track on this album is road trip material and can remain in a CD player for weeks at a time. Their lyrics are fitting for all ages and articulate about life in a everyday sense. This is a timeless punk rock album that will hopefully become a guideline of the genre to future musicians.
